Brian's photography is of landscapes and historic places across Northumberland and Tyne and Wear. Nature and landscapes have much to offer the photographer and his enjoyment is to capture the atmosphere and beauty of these subjects. Many natural events are infrequent and it is his challenge to be there. He uses digital photography as a powerful tool to produce something that is stunning.

Brians main profession is teaching. He was born in the West Country and grew up on a farm. Being fascinated by nature he trained as a biologist. After a hectic career he has come back to photography. later in life.

Many of his images are of the bridges on the River Tyne and these are the ones on the website. He hopes that you enjoy them.

He also produces his pictures as placemats. These are plastic laminated, durable and very suitable for gifts that can be sent to remind friends elsewhere in the world of what a great place we have in the North East. Email Brian for details of the placemats
