Azura hand-made, designer jewellery.

A stunning range of individual jewellery items, hand-made from silver, semi-precious gemstones and natural materials such as pearls and glass. The range features necklaces, chokers, earrings and bracelets. Stones which I use include turquoise, amethyst, fluorite, ruby zoisite, lava, rock crystal, onyx and haematite. 'Big and Bold' and 'Fine and Delicate' are contrasting themes in my work. You can see the 'bold' in the use of large, chunky gemstones and the delicate can be seen in items using materials such as pearls and silver wire.

Some of my silver pieces are made from precious metal clay, a product which looks like clay and works like clay, but which contains fine silver pieces invisible to the eye. When the clay is fired in a kiln, it magically turns into fine silver (999). This is genuine silver, which is purer than sterling and which can be hallmarked. Because of the malleability of the PMC, this technique allows me to create some very interesting textures in silver.
