Specialising in designing and hand stitching high quality traditional teddy bears, our smallest bear is 6 inches high and is available in a range of mohairs and hand felted wool with leather or suede pads and glass eyes.

Our largest bear stands at approx. 6 feet tall, is fully jointed and has leather or suede paws and footpads which can display personal messages, childrens names or corporate advertising. These giants make wonderful feature bears for galleries and commercial usage. Also when seated the bears make superb cuddly laps for youngsters of all ages. (Made to commission only.)

Foxwood Crafts and Bearcraft Bears offer a wide range of workshops in all aspects of bear making. Workshops can be tailored to the needs of both complete beginners and advanced bear artists.

We also offer workshops in traditional crafts such as patchwork, quilting, applique and rag rugs. All our workshops are relaxed and friendly, with the emphasis on de-stressing the participants and are held in mutually convenient locations in Durham, Northumberland and North Yorkshire.
