Marna Swan

Jim and Marna Swan have been married for 27 years and their enthusiasm for photography was there before they even met. Jim has been a professional photographer for forty years and Marna has actively pursued her hobby alongside.

They began Celebration Vision, the wedding part of the business, in 1982, incorporating County Chic in 2006 and together they create stunning close up floral portraits with colour co-ordinated mounts and beautiful hand made frames. These are taken at home and at many famous gardens such as Giverny and the Alnwick Garden. Christian Heritage and the castles of our dynamic Northumberland also inspire spectacular images enhancing both the contemporary and traditional home. They use the images on cards, mouse mats, fridge magnets and coasters with tee shirts the latest addition to the collection.

Marna trained in textiles and produces a range of soft furnishings in natural materials to compliment the pictures and provide those “finishing touches”.
Jim specialises in contemporary wedding photography.

Commissions are welcome in their fields of expertise. “View by appointment” can be simply arranged with a phone call/email. They also offer a bespoke framing service at competitive prices. They have regular cheese and wine parties and offer “Picture a Party” for your own event/venue.
