The objectives of Aurora are to promote, maintain, improve and advance education about the arts within the community at large. We do this by the promotion, production, exhibition, performance and encouragement of the arts including but not exclusively - visual, performing and media arts. Artsmix event dates for 2010

We have some really exciting news, another venue to add to our ever expanding market and events calendar.  After recent successes at Castle Howard artsmix* Markets have been invited into Malton Town centre for 5 dates this year with the first being May 16th.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Malton, it really is a beautiful town with a fantastic feeling of community spirit and it’s certainly captured our hearts in recent visits.

We welcome applications from all mediums so whether you’re a jeweller, wood worker, textile artist, painter, photographer or other we’d love to hear from you. Stalls are 8′ x 4′ with an introductory fee for the first market of just £25! (then £30 at subsequent markets in 2010), and we’ll take care of everything – promotion, setting up and taking down, and managing the events.

TIME:
11am – 4pm

The markets will be held in the centre of Malton (precise location TBC), to register your interest and apply for a pitch please email me amy@artsmix.co.uk with images of the products you propose to sell and a brief description (unless we are familiar with your work).
