The objectives of Aurora are to promote, maintain, improve and advance education about the arts within the community at large. We do this by the promotion, production, exhibition, performance and encouragement of the arts including but not exclusively - visual, performing and media arts. North East Equality Awards 2009

We have just launched the 2009 North East Equality Awards and we are looking for local artists who would like to design and produce awards for the ceremony.

The Awards ceremony will take place on the evening of 23rd October 2009 and once again the region’s employers will be recognised for the good equality practices they have in place which help remove barriers facing minority and disadvantaged groups in employment and entry into employment.
