Bit of an alarmist title this but don’t worry. What happens now only applies to new members or those who have yet to register and create their site. When a new user fills in their form online for the first time the information is held on the database and their page created but it will NOT be displayed on the site until they return back to the form and change the drop down that says “Status” from “Hidden” to “Live”.

This is so that members have the chance to fine tune their pages over a couple of days and put their site live when they are ready. Previously their site went live as soon as they clicked the update button. This new system allows members to preview their site first, make sure they are happy and then add it to the main site.

This also allows a member to temporarily remove their site from the main site if for any reason they wanted to, perhaps they need to get something off line quickly. They can go back into their admin section and change the drop down from “Live” to “Hidden”, do their work and then put it back on line.

Any sites that are hidden will not appear in any listings on the main site, or in the search results.
