Northumberland Illuminated
Local photographer David Taylor has recently launched his first book showing our beautiful region in a new light.
Entitled ‘Northumberland Illuminated’, the book focusses on the county’s towns, villages, countryside and coast, after dark. The subject of each image is illuminated by an artificial light source, such as candles, fireworks, floodlights and Christmas lights.
This stunning collection of award winning photography is available to order from Amazon here.
You can find more examples of Davids work in the photography section of our site, or you can visit his website at www.davidtaylorphotography.co.uk.

Calendar of Events now online . . .
http://www.auroracreativearts.co.uk/blog

We've now launched our new Exhibitions and Events calendar on the Aurora Blog. You can browse by month and dates that appear in red have an event on. Alternatively, you can click the month heading and all events within that month appear.
This is by no means an exhaustive list, but we want to make it a big part of the site and have it available as a useful resource for members and site viewers alike. So, if you know of an event, are attending one, or are planning one and it doesn't appear on our calendar then please let us know and we'll add it here for free!
As Aurora is a collective of over 120 members there's plenty to talk about, and plenty of things to publish that may be of interest. There are new sections and posts appearing on the blog all the time so keep an eye out and check back regularly. Alternatively, why not subscribe to our RSS feed and be notified automatically of new articles as they are added!
